The government of the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil, will return to the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) from November 5 to 10, 2024. The participation is led by the Secretary of Economic Development of Mato Grosso, César Miranda, with a delegation composed of 5 agricultural associations and more than 40 commercial, agribusiness institutions and entrepreneurs.

The Mato Grosso State booth is located in the agricultural exhibition area of the CIIE, booth number is Hall 1.2 C4-4. Last year, the state participated in the exhibition for the first time, using a 54-square-meter booth as a test; this year, Mato Grosso State increased its investment in the booth and customized a 100-square-meter booth.

The Mato Grosso State Government plans to hold an opening ceremony at the booth at 2:30 pm on November 6. There will also be a ceremony to sign MOUs with Chinese representatives. The state government sincerely invites Chinese government officials, companies and entities to visit the booth.

During the CIIE, Mato Grosso will also organize a variety of interactive explanations and food tasting activities to promote high-quality beef, bean products, etc. It is hoped that Mato Grosso's high-quality agricultural and animal husbandry products can be truly displayed in the Chinese market and presented to Chinese consumers.

Mato Grosso has strong commercial ties with China, with the two sides having signed more than 20 MOUs, either directly or indirectly, especially since the state government stationed a consultant in Beijing five years ago.
